Hind Social-
India's Community Network
Hind Social was envisioned as a digital ecosystem for Indian communities , enabling organizations, local groups, and individuals to connect, organize, and collaborate. The goal was to build a scalable, modular system that could power multiple community types , from cultural groups to volunteer networks - under one connected platform.
I led the design and product management for the entire platform, bridging strategy, execution, and experience.

User & Business research
Before working on any project , I always do research about the domain & field I am designing the products for. The following images show the research done for Hind Social.

Feature planning & flow mind-mapping
The goals of a module were defined clearly from which the data points & data flows were brainstromed in discussions with design, business and the development team

User story development in JIRA
I have experience in detailing out user stories & manage Product requirement Documents using Jira & Confluence

Event tracking for the platform
To enable product and business analytics across Hind Social, I designed a structured event tracking system that connects user behavior with measurable insights.
The process involved:
Defining properties for each event (e.g., content type, media type, origin, parent ID) to ensure data consistency across modules.
Mapping event triggers from UI components and user actions, specifying when and where each event should fire.
Establishing metrics to evaluate engagement, retention, and content performance for different media types like posts, videos, and audio.
This documentation was created and managed through JIRA and Confluence, ensuring smooth collaboration between design, development, and analytics teams. The framework now helps Hind Social capture granular product data, validate hypotheses, and drive data-informed design decisions.

Design Systems Documentation
I have experience in making design systems that are development ready, the process included designing the components and then documenting the component behaviors, size variations and variants.

Rapid development
Since we had an in-house engineering team, they had a solid grasp of all the features and business logic. We followed a waterfall development methodology, integrating rapid prototyping and testing cycles. This allowed us to efficiently test and refine each feature with basic QA for individual modules as they were developed, ensuring steady progress throughout.
